Marianne is a tourism research analyst at the University of New Orleans who has been an avid shutterbug since she picked up her first Minolta in high school, some too many years ago to mention! Shutterbug Diva is the perfect fusion of her passions - the intersection of her great love of photography and her enthusiasm for all things hospitality and tourism related. While many of her images are captured while traveling, she holds a special place in her heart for her hometown of New Orleans, which pervades her work. Having lived through the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina, and witnessing the rebirth of the city and its tourism industry, she is dedicated to the city’s recovery and to spreading the word that New Orleans is open and ready for business.
